Remobilization

The second goal of care is to get you active again. This process is called remobilization, which is accomplished by relaxing tense muscles and loosening stiff joints. Gradually and safely, you will be increasing the activities you perform with less and less fear of re-injury. Stretching and light cardiovascular exercises, along with manipulation, are the primary modes of care in this state. Fewer physical therapy techniques are used and you will receive advice about how to prevent or reduce strain in daily activities, e.g., how to sit with causing strain.
